There is a (not so faraway) place called M.A.C. West Child Care. Every day (except for Sunday), this bright little room is full of kids playing, reading and watching cartoons.
Moms use Child Care to have a little time for themselves. Whether they want to play tennis, do yoga or eat dinner with a friend, one of the five child care providers is there for them.
Linda Ehlen runs Child Care and has worked at the Club for eight years. Jenny, Tessa, Jeannette and Candace also work in the facility.
"We get thanked all of the time," Linda says. "It's a very thankful job. We get thanked more than most other places. We have a very good group of moms."
The group of children Child Care receives remains relativley consistent. They have been caring for some of the kids they watch since they were five to six weeks old.
"It's almost like we get to know all of the kids," Linda says. " We now what they like and dislike. A lot of the kids we've watched grow up."

Although the faces remain the same, the room has not. Last year, the Child Care room was among those rennovated at M.A.C. West. They now have windows, which makes the room appear much cheerier and brighter. It's also makes the employees' jobs easier. The old room was broken up into four different little compartments. Now, they just have one big room to look after.
Linda encourages members to bring their little ones to Child Care anytime they want to take a break at the M.A.C. Moms and dads can drop the kids off for up to three hours and eat, work out and relax on the premises.
"The kids are here short term, so there's a constant change of kids," Linda says. "There's a lot of different personalities. It's always changing."
