In 2006, you can be more stylish than ever. Get the New Year off to a fancy start with a lavish party at the Missouri Athletic Club. The M.A.C.’s New Year’s Eve Party is the premier event in St. Louis and dates back to the earliest years of the Club. Join generations of M.A.C. members who have welcomed the New Year from the comfort and extravagance of their own home, the Club. This year, the Art Lounge and Missouri Room will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland. The elegant affair will feature gourmet hors d’oeuvres, fancy cocktails at an open bar and a three-course dinner. Live music from the Bob Coleman Band will offer a backdrop for dancing and greeting. The evening is complete with a champagne toast, an ice sculpture and party favors. After the evening winds down, party-goers will receive a continental breakfast at the end of the party. The party begins on Saturday, Dec. 31, at 7:30 p.m. with cocktails. Dinner and dancing follow until 1 a.m. Formal attire is required and the cost is $110 + gratuity.
