Stretch and Swing Golf Fitness Program
Wednesdays
Jan. 18 – Feb. 8 (Four-week Class)
6:45-8 p.m.


This golf season, don't wait a few weeks to get the old swing back in shape. Get a head start on your fellow golfers; see yourself on the tee this year fit, flexible and ready to play 18 holes the first round of the season. Your golfing partners will be surprised to see you drive it farther, hit it straighter and keep up with your last season's game.

Join Barb Michael, a fitness and flexibility coach, to learn techniques and mental exercises to help you start strong and finish strong every round.

Barb is the owner of Optimal Lifestyles, a health and fitness company specializing in fitness, golf-fitness and yoga. She is the health and fitness education sponsor for the Gateway PGA and has provided on-site yoga instruction for the LPGA Tour for 2001 Michelob Light Classic and the State Farm Classic. Fusion Combo Class: Strength Training, Abs and Yoga

Thursdays, starting Jan. 5

Fitness fusion is West's way of beating boredom when it comes to exercise. We're all about keeping things interesting and, in the fitness world, that means taking a flexible approach to traditional exercises.

If you're bored with your workout, Fusion is the perfect class for you! This creative class combines Yoga techniques, ab work, and resistance training into one workout.

Instructor Barb Michael, a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor, will help you strengthen your entire body with this conditioning workout. Fusion starts with upper and lower body weight training, adds an abdominal workout and ends with yoga for a nice stretch.

Spin and Sculpt
Fridays (Starting Jan. 6)
12:15 p.m.

Puts a new “SPIN” on Spinning with with this new class!

Spin and Sculpt combines 40 minutes of Spinning PLUS 20 minutes of weight training! Enjoy the intense cardiovascular exercise provided by Spinning and add resistance training to sculpt and shape your muscles after they are warmed up by the cardio.

Instructor Beth Clark will help you spin your way to a new body with this fun, new class.







Mix it up
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, starting Jan. 4
10 a.m.


Do you want to add a little challenge and excitement to your workout? If so, head to West and mix it up.

Try this new class, which features interval style training through a combination of cardio and strength training moves. Mix it up will use a variety of equipment, from steps and bands to weights and BOSU Balls, in order to provide a total body workout. 

Instructor Lisa Killoren promises to keep you interested and working hard the entire class long. This is an energizing class that promises you results!
