Tell us Your Best Love Story
As we move closer to Valentine’s Day, The Buffet has decided to celebrate the coming week with hearts and cupids. Tell us some the creative ways you've said, "I love you." Or, give us the tale of how your sweetheart made the day special for you. We also welcome heartfelt stories of your most memorable Valentine's Day.

All stories will be published in the Feb. 13 Buffet. Provide your loving tale by Thursday, Feb. 9. To submit your story, e-mail thechef@mac-stl.org.
Put Your Heart at Ease
Get your Valentine's gifts at the Front Desk

If you're one of those people caught last-minute shopping on Christmas Eve, it's doubtful you've bought a Valentine's Day gift yet. This year, the Missouri Athletic Club wants to make the sweetheart's holiday truly sweet. Instead of dropping by a flower shop after work on the big day or scrambling over picked-over cards, stop at the Downtown Front Desk.

The lobby's main hub has an assortment of gifts for M.A.C. men in search of the perfect way to say "I love you." The Front Desk has pretty pink fleeces, Bath & Body gift baskets, chocolates and champagne. For M.A.C. ladies looking for the perfect Valentine, remember the Front Desk boasts the best cigar selection in town. Purchase one or two sweet smelling stogies and grab a bottle of champagne. He'll feel like the king of the town.

BOUT IT OUT
First Annual M.A.C. Boxing Championships

Boxing Coach Tommy Sullivan was a central figure in the Athletic Department when the Missouri Athletic Club first opened its doors in 1904. Boxing matches were some of the most exciting events at the Club. Throughout the years, hundreds of boxers have stepped in the M.A.C. ring, and the sport remains popular to this day.

The Club's First Annual M.A.C. Boxing Championships on Thursday, Feb. 9, will again establish the popular sport as a yearly event. Boxers from the St. Louis Metro Boxing Club will square off in the ring against ranked opponents in various weight divisions. There will be a female bout as well.

Reach the Warrior's Edge
Strengthen body, mind and spirit

Martial arts is about much more than fighting. True warriors are taught a deeper meaning and philosophy. They emphasize on strengthening the mind and spirit, as well as the body, and learn that the most powerful warrior is the one who is strong enough to avoid fighting.

Go deeper with your workout. M.A.C. West is introducing a new style of personal training: Warrior's one-on-one personalized training. Instructor Dan Moriarty will not only help improve your body, his training will strengthen all areas of your life. From beginners to advanced, male or female, children to adults, this martial arts program is progressive and fun!
