Fitness Solutions for the Bored and Tired
If you're sick of the same workout routine or have little time for exercise, the Missouri Athletic Club has three innovative solutions for you.
The downtown clubhouse will soon introduce two new fitness classes and bring back a popular one. The new Express 30-Minute Workout, Yoga and Yoga-Pilates classes will provide a welcome change to a monotonous gym routine.
Express 30-Minute Workout
On Tuesday, May 23, the M.A.C. will debut the Express 30-minute workout. This class, taught early in the morning, will make squeezing in a good workout easier for people who are always on the go. By combining yoga poses, kickboxing moves and free weight exercises, you'll get a total body workout in just 30 minutes.
Instructor Andrew Francis is a certified group instructor, yoga instructor and personal trainer. This class is open to all fitness levels and age groups.

Yoga Class
The Missouri Athletic Club introduced yoga to the downtown clubhouse a few months a go. So far, it has been a hit. This muscle strengthening and lengthening workout is one of the best single things you can do for your body. Yoga not only improves flexibility and overall strength, it also develops the body-mind connection. Yoga also provides a great way to de-stress during a Monday lunch break.
