It's M.A.C. Pool Party Time
Sadly, summer only lasts three months. This is why the Missouri Athletic Club likes to take advantage of the pool season while it's here. So far this summer there are three poolside events to put on your schedule: a dive-in movie, a Fourth of July Pool Party and an Associate Pool Party. Summer won't last forever, so take advantage of these great ways to socialize outside by the pool.

It's Time to Get Scotchy
Stogie Club Hosts a Scotch Tasting

Whiskey, the "water of life," as translated from the Gaelic "uisge beatha," was first documented in Scotland during the 15th century. Friar John Corr is documented as buying the first 500 kg. of malt, so his monastery could produce it.

On Thursday, June 22, the Stogie Club will explore the wide world of scotch in the Sportsman's Club. Master Scotch Distiller Ian MacMillan, from Burn Stewart Distillers, LTD, will be at the M.A.C. to present seven different scotches for tasting.
