It's Pool Party Time at the M.A.C.
 Sadly, summer only lasts three months. This is why the Missouri Athletic Club likes to take advantage of the pool season while it's here. So far this summer there are three poolside events to put on your schedule: a dive-in movie, a Fourth of July Pool Party and an Associate Pool Party. Summer won't last forever, so take advantage of these great ways to socialize outside by the pool.
Dive-In Movie
Saturday, June 24
The Missouri Athletic Club is putting a creative twist on the old drive-in movies. On Saturday, June 24, M.A.C.  West is hosting a dive-in movie night. The whole family will enjoy watching a kid-friendly movie while floating in the West pool! Bring your kids to this fun, free event.
Before the movie, feast on a tasty dinner at the Stan Musial Grille. Afterward, change into your swimming suits and catch the film, which begins at dusk. Bring a floatation device to watch the movie from the pool, but don't worry about the popcorn. This free event includes all the popcorn you can eat!
 Fourth of July Pool Party
Tuesday, July 4
Before heading downtown for the fireworks, spend the Fourth of July lounging by the West pool. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the kids can play, and you can catch up on your tan. Families will be treated to food, beverages, music and games. Be sure to bring your swimsuit because there will be plenty of pool activities. Adults are $20, and kids (ages 3-12) are $12. Associate Poolside Party
Saturday, August 5
 Party by the pool this August with the Associates. They are hosting an outdoor bash and want everyone to come. From
6 to 11 p.m., the M.A.C. West pool will be a happening place. The highlight of the night will be the No. 1 cover band in St. Louis (according to the Riverfront Times). Paint the Earth covers bands, such as the Cure, Radiohead and Nirvana. They have gift of continually providing the right sound at the right time, and every now and then the musicians will sneak in an original song that blends in with the set. It will be $25 per person, including hors d'ouvres and entertainment. A cash bar will be available for cocktails. Don't miss this party of the summer! Look in future Buffets for more details.
