Your Kicks with Martial Arts
Enroll in West's Martial Arts program today
|
You have seen Jet Li beat the bad guys senseless with flying kicks, battle cries and mighty chops, but, you may ask, how can these acts of violence teach your child anything worthwhile? Martial Arts are much more than what you see on TV; the training is actually based on non-violence. Martial Arts can teach your child responsibility, patience, self-control and respect.
If you're ready to try Martial Arts out, look no further. The M.A.C. hosts a Martial Arts after-school program every Thursday from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. Members can join anytime.

Get "In Synch" with Synchronized Swimming

|
Synchronized swimming is internationally recognized as a sport of beauty and grace, but the Olympic sport also takes a lot of strength. It combines the athleticism of speed swimming, the flexibility of dance and the endurance of a distance runner. Introduce your child to this demanding and beautiful sport in August.
The Clayton Shaw Swim Team will hold an exclusive synchronized swimming clinic
at M.A.C. West on Tuesdays and Thursdays in August: Aug. 1, 3, 8 and 10.
