Beat the Heat and Have Fun
Don't miss the summer poolside party
In less than two weeks the M.A.C. will host the hottest party of the summer. Don't miss the poolside party on Saturday, Aug. 5, (weather permitting).
Adults of all ages are encouraged to come. From 6 to 11 p.m., the M.A.C. West pool will be the place to be. The party is limited to 300 people, so make your reservation now because these tickets are going fast!

Story with a Twist: Oliver!
Don't miss the Muny's production of Oliver!

Need a vacation? Take a trip to the grimy back streets of Victorian London. On Saturday, Aug. 5, the Missouri Athletic Club is heading to the Muny to watch Oliver Twist.
This musical, based on the book by Charles Dickens, highlights the social evils rampant in London during Dickens' time. Using sarcasm and dark humor, Oliver Twist reveals the hypocrisies of the time.

Adult-Child Tennis Tournament and BBQ

Hit the West tennis courts for an Adult-Child Tennis Tournament and BBQ on Saturday, Aug. 12. This club-wide competition will feature three divisions, so all levels of play can participate! The tennis tournament is a round-robin event with four eight-game sets.
Play will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A barbecue lunch, included in the price, will be available from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost is $35 per team. Registration and more information is available at the West Pro Shop. Entry deadline is Thursday, Aug. 10. |
Pair Free Live on the Levee Concerts with a Good Meal
Head to the Jack Buck Grille before or after hitting the festivities at this summer's "Live on the Levee." This event is free and just a five-minute walk down the road. Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Edwin McCain and other well-known bands will be among this year's free performances. Stop by the M.A.C. for a cool beverage or a nice dinner before the show. See you there!

Gain Confidence with a Lesson in Self Defense
Approach work, family and everyday interactions with more confidence. Just enroll in a three-hour self-defense workshop on Tuesday, Aug. 15. If you feel powerful in threatening situations, imagine how you will feel when confronting everyday challenges!
Gather up your daughters and gal pals and join Instructor Dan Moriarty for a fun, informational workout that will teach you the same self-defense techniques police learn in the academy.

Downtown Yoga Classes The new yoga session will begin Monday, Aug. 28. It will run from noon to 1 p.m. every Monday. The eight-week session is only $50. Space is limited. Cardinals Shuttle The M.A.C. provides a one-way shuttle bus for all Cardinals home games. It runs continuously for one hour and 15 minutes before game time. No shuttle will run after the start of the game because of possible bus commitments. Avoid the traffic and hassle that comes with parking near Busch Stadium. Park at the Club and grab a bite to eat before or after the game at the Jack Buck Grille. |

Don't miss the hottest party of the summer, located poolside. Performing will be the No. 1 cover band in St. Louis. Paint the Earth covers music ranging from original rock to Nirvana and Dave Matthews. Price includes hors d’ouvres and entertainment. A cash bar will be available.
