Get Rid of Your Two Left Feet
Join a professional for ballroom dance classes at the M.A.C.

If you love to dance but are unsure of your skills, learn the basics of ballroom dancing at the M.A.C. Back by popular demand, the Missouri Athletic Club and the Dinner Dance Club will present a seven-week beginner and intermediate group dance class. Professional ballroom dance instructor Susan Nyemchek will teach the seven-week course every Tuesday from Sept. 12 to Oct. 24. Perfect your dancing skills in the beautiful Missouri Room, where the course will be held every Tuesday except on Oct. 17, when it will move to the Art Lounge for the week.

The class, from 7 to 9:15 p.m., will be divided into two one-hour segments that feature the most popular ballroom dances. Instructor Nyemchek is an accomplished professional ballroom dance instructor who teaches both American and International styles of dance at the amateur and professional levels. Along with ten years experience in national competition, her 25 years of experience include coordinator of the St. Louis Star Ball Championships and partnering with education through the Arts Program at area schools. Instructor Nyemchek is a certified adjudicator with the National Dance Council of America. She is from St. Louis and has been married to David Nyemchek, a national champion ballroom dancer and her dance partner for the past 23 years. David and Susan have been co-owners of Just Dancing, Inc. in Manchester for the past 18 years. The Dinner Dance Club is once again pleased to bring this level of professionalism to the Club during the fall program.

The program has been especially designed for both couples and singles. Guests are welcome. The total price for the seven-week course is $60 per person, inclusive, for Dinner Dance members and $65 for non-members. Price includes parking and lessons.

If you've always wanted to be great dancer, now is the time. If you are interested in joining the class this fall, please call Courtney Kranz at 314-539-4402. Space is limited, so call soon! Please wear comfortable dancing attire; hard sole shoes are recommended.
