M.A.C. Joins St. Louis' celebration of soccer
 The Missouri Athletic Club has presented college soccer's version of the Heisman Trophy since 1986. Some of the biggest names in American soccer like Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly, Cindy Parlow, Alexi Lalas, Tony Meola and Claudia Reyna have been awarded the prestigious crystal soccer ball trophy at the M.A.C.
The annual awards banquet is traditionally held in January. This year, the presentation of the 2006 M.A.C.'s Hermann Trophy is moving to the campus of Saint Louis University to coincide with the College Cup weekend. So not only will the top teams meet in St. Louis for college soccer's final four, the top male and female collegiate players will be honored that same weekend. Don't miss this exciting celebration of St. Louis soccer!
The semi-final games will be played on Friday, Dec. 1. The following night will be the presentation of the M.A.C.'s Hermann Trophy at the Busch Center on the campus of Saint Louis University. The soccer weekend will culminate on Sunday with the NCAA championship game.
