Add a "Punch" to Your Workout with Martial Arts
You don't have to kick high or be extremely flexible to do martial arts. Anyone can give it a try with a new adult martial arts class at M.A.C. West on Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m. To give you an aerobic workout, the class focuses on basic punching and kicking skills, calisthenics and stretching and flexibility exercises. The class, taught by sixth degree black belt Sensei Dan Moriarty, costs $20 per class and include belts and testing. Beginners are welcome! Classes are held in West’s Fitness Room once a week. For more information or to sign up, please call the West Fitness Desk at 539-4433. |

The Missouri Athletic Club’s Board needs your input. To help focus their efforts on the right priorities, the M.A.C. Board has begun a major strategic planning initiative, starting with a Member and Spouse Survey. This is the most important contribution you'll make to your Club all year, and it will only take 15 minutes of your time!
The Missouri Athletic Club’s Member and Spouse Survey is being mailed to you this week. You should receive it in a few days. However, if you would rather take the survey online, you can do it right now! As an incentive for you to share your feedback, five $100 dining certificates will be awarded in a random drawing held after the Sept. 20 deadline. If you wish to participate in the drawing, please include your name and Club number in the space provided at the end of the survey. (Attaching your name/number is optional and not required to participate in the survey). |
