Veteran's Day Celebration
Show past and present veterans the respect they deserve at the 2006 Veteran’s Day Commemoration on Friday, Nov. 10. This annual celebration will feature special guest speaker General Norton A. Schwartz and recognize Medal of Honor Recipient Russell Dunham. The day will be complete with a luncheon, entertainment and a cash bar.

The M.A.C. Veteran’s Day celebration begins at 11:15 a.m. with military exhibits and a cash bar in the Eads Room. The luncheon will begin at noon in the Missouri Room, and the program starts at 12:30 p.m. Price is $25, inclusive. To make reservations, please call Stephanie at 539-4470. Calling all Billiken Backers
M.A.C. brings breakfast with the Billikens

Thanks to the M.A.C., Billiken fans can get the latest scoop on the upcoming basketball season at breakfast on Friday, Nov. 10. Coach Soderberg and his star player Ian Vouyoukas will headline Breakfast with the Billikens. They will discuss this year’s team and answer questions from fans. Athletic Director Cheryl Levick will be on hand to give a presentation about SLU’s exciting new arena. Bob Ramsey will be the Master of Ceremonies.

Call 314-539-4470 for reservations. The price is $25 + gratuity, which includes breakfast and parking. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., the program will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 9 a.m.

Say it With Music
Don't miss the Apollos fall concert
Listen to the M.A.C. Apollos "say it with music" at their annual fall show on Friday, November 17. They will pay tribute to Apollos Music Director Greg Schweitzer, a talented musician, director and arranger, who has been with the Apollos for more than two decades! It will be a lighthearted yet meaningful program. The Apollos encourage everyone to come, spend a fun evening of good food and song. Cocktails (cash bar) will be served at 6 p.m., dinner will be at 7 p.m. and the performance will begin at 8:15 p.m. Price is $24.95 plus gratuity. Call 539-4470 for reservations.

Never Grow Old with the M.A.C. Forever Young Club
The Forever Young Club has two more meetings planned at M.A.C. West. The group will meet at noon on Friday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Dec. 15, which will serve as the group's Christmas Party. You can enjoy a discounted lunch buffet for just $10. The group welcomes new members. The meetings are a great way to socialize, plan new activities and stick around and play cards. Call M.A.C. M.A.C. Charitable Society Meeting Every year M.A.C. members donate money to benefit three local charities. Now is the time of year when the M.A.C. Charitable Society chooses the 2007 charities. Be a part of this important decision. Head to a meeting on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the West Dining Alcove. Familiarize yourself with the eight candidates here. M.A.C. Happy Hour
Looking for something to do next Thursday, Nov. 16? Gather up your friends and head to the Downtown Clubhouse for a happy hour.
