Gear up for Street Hockey
Kids' program begins Thursday, Feb. 15
Coach Eric Saxton dedicates his life to providing children with a chance to develop the skills necessary to excel in sports. This winter, he's bringing street hockey to the M.A.C., beginning Thursday, Feb. 15.
The NHL Street Hockey program is the league’s first national hockey program for boys and girls. Saxton's four-week program offers continuous action, uses minimal equipment and is played in sneakers. Players will receive NHL playbooks and get to wear NHL gear, including goalie pads and masks.
The program will be held every Thursday from 4 to 5:15 p.m. Street hockey is a great sport for both boys and girls. This class will be broken into two sessions: kindergarten through third graders and fourth through six graders. M.A.C. Street Hockey is $45 for members and $75 for members’ guests. Please contact Coach Saxton at 314-761-6071 or West Athletic Director Tim Kelley at 314-539-4476 with questions or to sign up.
