Add Some Spin to Your Saturday
One of the best ways to stick with those weight loss goals is to engage in high-calorie burning activities, such as spinning. Research shows spinning participants burn 400 to 500 calories in a 40-minute session. The Downtown Clubhouse already offers a regular Monday, Wednesday and Friday class, but this spring it's offering an additional challenge for those who want to step it up a notch. If you're ready to take your exercise program to the next level, consider a biweekly Saturday morning two-hour spinning class at the Downtown Clubhouse (members are not required to stay the entire time). Classes are Feb. 10 and 17 and March 10 and 24 from 8 to 10 a.m.
This new class will be taught for the entire two hours, but members can come in and only spin for 45 minutes to an hour if they choose. They don’t have to feel pressure to spin for the entire two hours if they can’t. Whether you are a regular or a newcomer to spinning, this class is for you. Spinners can go at their own pace and build up their endurance if need be. Pedal your way to a more fit you in 2007 and join the spinning class.
The class is $6 for non-Diamond Club/Fellowship members. |
