Next Class of Hall of Fame to be Inducted March 2
On Friday, March 2, some of the Missouri Athletic Club's most distinguished athletes will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame. A dinner will be held in their honor in the Missouri Room. The Hall of Fame Committee reviewed nominations from M.A.C. members and recently selected the 2007 class of inductees: Gary Wideman and David Cole for basketball; Tom Erbs for volleyball; Rene Lusser for racquet sports; Rich Sauget for handball; Bill Gitcho for inspiration and Steve Krause and Bill Hebron for their distinguished service.

JBG Plays the Right Tune
Erin Bode Books Four 2007 Performances
Local jazz star Erin Bode and her backup band have booked four Friday night performances in the Jack Buck Grille/Rendezvous Room: March 15, April 20, Sept. 21 and Oct. 19. These special evenings will feature a gourmet three-course dinner, an extensive wine list and top-of-the-line entertainment. Bode will sing from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m.

The Erin Bode Band has performed at famous venues in New York, Washington D.C. and Italy, and her crossover appeal wins audiences over again and again. The M.A.C. has two Fox Theatre outings around Valentine's Day: "Light in the Piazza" on Thursday, Feb. 8 and "Stomp" on Friday, Feb. 16. The evening comes complete with a three-course meal, shuttle to the Fox and glass of wine. If you really want to make the evening special, book a room at the M.A.C. for the special Valentine's rate. M.A.C. Snags Tickets to Johnny Mathis at the Fox
The creator of greatest hits albums is heading to the Fox, and the M.A.C. has a limited amount of these hard-to-get tickets. Johnny Mathis, who released the first ever Greatest Hits album in the music industry (Johnny’s Greatest Hits), has been a music icon for more than 50 years. Don't miss his beautiful, romantic ballads and classic standards on Saturday, March 24, at the Fabulous Fox Theatre. Tickets to Johnny Mathis won't be available to the general public until a few days before the show, if at all. So, if Mathis is one of your all-time favorites, get tickets through the M.A.C. soon!

Adult Tennis Club Championships Sign Up Deadline Tomorrow
From Feb. 12 to April 28, M.A.C. West will hold its annual tennis tournament. Finals and third and fourth playoffs are scheduled for Saturday, April 28. The deadline to sign up is tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 6. Martin Duggan, prominent and popular host of Donnybrook, along with his wife Mae will be guests at the M.A.C. Forever Young Club Luncheon meeting. Duggan capped a successful 45-year career with the St. Louis Globe-Democrat and was appointed host/producer of Donnybrook, an Emmy Award-winning public affairs program now in its 21st year on KETC Channel 9, here in St. Louis.
