Free Gift from the M.A.C.
Goodfellowship Day, Feb. 24, 2007
It's the middle of the winter, temperatures are freezing and you may need to add a little pep to your step. Chances are, you'll feel better once you've collected a free gift from the M.A.C.: Goodfellowship Day on Saturday, Feb. 24.
Former Athletic Director Carl O. Bauer created Goodfellowship Day in the 1930s as a gift to the members from the Club. More than 70 years later, Goodfellowship Day still exists for a few good reasons: free food, free beer and great fun. It's an event where you can hang out with friends, enjoy a little friendly competition and burn some extra calories. Goodfellowship Day is exactly as it sounds: a day to celebrate camaraderie and friendship at the Club.
