Dive Into the Swim Season
In spite of the freezing temperatures, nothing sounds better than a 90-degree day. They will be here before you know it, which means the M.A.C.’s Swim and Dive Team are preparing to dive into the 2007 season. All interested participants must attend one of two sign-up dates at the M.A.C. West Poolside Café. The dates are Tuesday, March 6 or Thursday, April 12, 4 to 7 p.m.
The M.A.C. offers a Red Team, which is a competitive team that participates in meets against other swim clubs. The primary goal of the team is to help each swimmer and diver improve throughout the summer. The team has plenty of time for fun and it is a great opportunity for kids to make friends.
The Club’s Blue and White teams are non-competitive. The primary focus is on developing a swimmer’s stroke skills and technique in a fun environment. Practices include two basic elements: teaching and repetition drills.
