Lose Weight the Healthy “Weigh”
Although you might wish for a miracle pill to help shrink your waist size, the truth is there’s only one healthy way to lose weight. One must have a balanced diet and exercise regularly to shed those pounds. In May the West Clubhouse is introducing a class designed to help you get in shape for swimsuit season the healthy way. This group weight loss class will run in a four-week session on Tuesdays, May 8, 15, 22 and 29, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the group aerobic room.

The M.A.C.’s very own registered and licensed dietitian David Vandeven, MS, RD, LD, CSCS, will present the class. He will focus on self assessment, meal planning, recipe modification/healthy cooking techniques and exercise. David has a Masters of Science degree in nutrition and physical performance from St. Louis University. The class is $100 per four-week session.
