The M.A.C. Meets the Legends to Swing Open Great Golf

More than a quarter century ago, famed golf course designer Robert Trent Jones, Sr. was in the St. Louis area to design a course for Old Warson Country Club. He traveled to view a piece of land in the outlying town of Eureka where in his words, “nature seemed to have outdone itself.” This land, located in southwest St. Louis County, just 12 minutes from the intersection of Highways 270 and 44 is now known as The Legends.

The Country Club at The Legends offers a spectacular golf experience in the beautiful Meramec River Valley. The courses at The Legends are a testimony to Mr. Jones’ philosophy that “every hole should be a hard par and an easy bogey.”
