Celebrate St. Louis

Fireworks,food and fun at the M.A.C. and Fair St. Louis

Get decked out in your red, white and blue, and celebrate the 4th with us at Fair St. Louis. What better place to get the perfect view of the VP Parade then at the M.A.C.  There will be bleachers set up on the North side of Washington Ave. just for members and their guests. Be sure to get your seat to catch the parade, which starts at 4th and Washington at 10 a.m. Also, don’t forget to stop in for a drink and some food throughout the day at the M.A.C. The restaurants and bars will be open. See hours below.
            This year’s theme for the 130th year of the Veiled Prophet Parade is City of St. Louis and will honor our great city, including the St. Louis Fire Department, celebrating their 150th year.

West 4th of July Pool Party
Cool off and relax!

Suit up and head to M.A.C. West for their annual 4th of July Pool Party. Families can enjoy food, beverages, music and games that will be fun for all ages. The party will be on Wednesday, July 4 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. The cost is $20 for adults and $12 for children age 3-12. Call the M.A.C. West for reservations at 314-539-4490. The M.A.C. hopes to see you there for this fun, festive event.

 

Big City in The City

Don't miss Big City with Kelly Lemon.


Take yourself back to the 20s and the jazz club setting as the M.A.C. presents Big City with Kelly Lemon. Enjoy a three-course dinner, a few glasses of wine and the smooth rhythms of jazz on Saturday, July 14 in the Jack Buck Grille. Hear original jazz, blues and Motown tunes by Big City, but also catch some old favorites by great artists such as Al Green, Aretha Franklin, B.B. King, Bill Withers, Nora Jones, Jean Knight, Eric Clapton and many more. The entertainment will be from 6-10 p.m. Call 314-539-4417 for reservations.

Big City was organized last year by a group of young men from the SIUE Jazz Performance Program. Lead singer Kelly Lemon began listening and working with her father’s blues and country band as a child. She now sings with the group of young men, some of which are students and graduates. Big City also performs with local artists such as Anita Rosamond and Tom Kennedy.

 

Lobsterfest Continues...

Put on your lobster bib, and join us for our Lobster Summer Specials. There are four dates left to enjoy the summer harvest in the Jack Buck Grille and Rendezvous Room. "B2B" Back to the Basics

B2B is a physical conditioning program that combines strength and cardiovascular exercises to achieve total body training.  Participants will be challenged with calisthenics, circuit, resistance and agility training, core strength, cardio endurance (hills, stairs, sprints etc.)   "B2B" offers an exercise program that reduces weight and inches and allows people to see quick results.  B2B is designed for all fitness levels with high and low impact adaptations to all exercises so everyone has a challenging workout and no one is left behind!!!

Sunday Brunch at West Brunch is served on Sundays at M.A.C. West from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through July 1st. Following July 1, there will be no Sunday Brunch through Sept. 2. Sunday brunches will resume beginning Sept. 9.

New Yoga Session Downtown If strengthening your cardiovascular system, toning and stretching your muscles and improving your mental fitness are what you are looking for, then yoga is for you! The new yoga session will begin on Monday, June 25th.  Classes will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. every Monday for 8-weeks.  All skill levels are welcomed, but space is limited. Train With Your Friends at West M.A.C. West is now offering group personal training. Training with a group is a great way to stay motivated and excited about your fitness goals.
