Baseball Great to Speak at M.A.C.
Remember Baseball How it Used to Be

Do you remember the way baseball used to be? The colorful players that played just because they loved the game and the smells of fresh cut grass, rosin bags and pine tar. Former Cardinals player Joe Garagiola looks at what is right with America’s favorite past time in his book Just Play Ball. Garagiola, who played for the Cardinals for five seasons and was a broadcaster for many, will be speaking at the M.A.C. Downtown on Mon., July 30 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. as part of the KMOX/Fontbonne University Book Club hosted by Charlie Brennan.
