Make Things a Little Easier
Register Online for Events
The MAC has an exciting new opportunity for members. You can now register online for Club sponsored events. Never has it been easier to enjoy a performance, meal or special event at the Club. To register, sign on to the Web site at www.mac-stl.org and click on Membership, then Members area. Sign in to the member’s only area. After entering your member name and password, you can then register for events on the calendar. Save yourself some time and register online today. A link to register for events can be found in the Buffet as well. The registration system allows you to enter the number of guests you will be bringing. It will also stop registration when an event has been filled. After registering online, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from the Club with a confirmation number and reminder of the date of the event. Local Musician in the JBG
St. Louisan Theo Peoples holds the distinction of being the only man to sing lead for both the Temptations and Four Tops. Peoples will be performing in the Jack Buck Grille on Friday, Sept. 28. Peoples performs in a wide range of musical styles such as Soul, Rock, Gospel and Jazz standards, delivering dramatic reinterpretations of old classics and breathing life into new ones. Are you Ready for Some Football?
Rams Season begins Sept. 9
The Rams regular season kicks off on Sunday, Sept. 9 against Carolina at noon. Take advantage of the delicious and convenient dining buffets the MAC is offering before all Rams’ home games. You will be right across the street from the Stadium. There will be a breakfast buffet before the season opening game on the Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. The cost is $22.95. Increase Productivity
If you are looking to improve your business or organization, be sure to attend Courageous Leadership- Management Lessons from America's Elite on Tuesday, Sept. 18. The seminar will be given by decorated Lt. Col. Larry Connor and will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast, followed by the 90-minute program from 8-9:30 a.m. The cost is $25, inclusive. Be a Better Bidder
Polish up your bridge game, and review your skills. Become a pro by taking play of the hand bridge lessons at the MAC with Linda Powers, Silver Life Master in Bridge. Powers will review the skills of basic bidding and make you a more strategic player. The seven-week course will be at MAC West on Mondays from 7-9 p.m. Class is from Sept. 10 to Nov. 12 in the West Wing Banquet/Card Room. Move Your Feet
Get rid of your two left feet. If you love to dance but are unsure of your skills, learn the basics of ballroom dancing at the MAC. Professional ballroom dance instructor Susan Nyemchek will teach the five-week course every Tuesday from September 11 to October 9. The class, from 7 to 9:25 p.m., will feature the most popular ballroom dances. Those with skills from beginner to advanced are encouraged to join. If you are interested in ballroom dances lessons, please make your reservation through Courtney Kranz at 314-539-4402. Guests are welcome. Hard sole shoes are recommended.

New Downtown Massage Therapist

The Downtown Clubhouse has added licensed massage therapist Teah Folkerts. She has experience working at spas and is skilled at performing Swedish, Chair, Sports, Deep Tissue and Prenatal Massage. For an appointment with Teah, call 314-539-4431.

New Yoga Session The new yoga session is forming now and will begin on Monday, Sept. 10th. Classes will be held from 12-1 p.m. every Monday for 8-weeks. To sign up, please notify Rick Schneider in Athletics, or call him at 314-539-4434.

FYC Jeff City Trip The MAC Forever Young Club (FYC) will travel to Jefferson City on Friday, Sept. 14th to visit the Capitol, then The Churchill Memorial Library in Fulton, MO. The group will travel via Motor Coach. Tour Of Missouri Cycling Race The Tour of Missouri, America’s newest elite professional cycling race, revealed race and route details for Stage Six of the six-day, 600-mile race through the state, a circuit race around St. Louis starting at 1:00 PM on Sunday, Sept. 16. This first-time Missouri event will bring 120 racers from some of the world’s best cycling teams for six action-packed days through Missouri’s most beautiful areas, including the Katy Trail, the Ozarks, wine country and the capitol city, and a grand finale 80-mile circuit race around St. Louis.
