Save Some Time this Holiday Season
Register Online
Simplify your life and plan some time for fun. Register for many Club sponsored events through the MAC Web site. It’s easy and fast. Just sign on to the Web site at www.mac-stl.org, then click on Membership, the Member Login. Enter your member name and password. Once you have provided your login information you can register for events through the main page on the Web site or through the calendar. Also while in the member’s only area, you can look up your latest bill and chat with other members on a message board. Registering for events online makes the process more convenient for you. Not only does it save you time, after registering online you will receive a confirmation email with a confirmation number and a reminder of the event you have signed up for. An advantage of using online registration is that you are able to reserve a spot for an event from anywhere where you have internet access. If you are away on business or on vacation, you can sign up for an event before it sells out. A link to the registration page will be included in every Buffet, so you will be able to register right after seeing all of the upcoming events. Don’t miss the chance to have a great time at the Club ever again. For help with your login information, call Accounting at 314-539-4432. Dessert Sale
Grandma likes cheesecake, your mom likes pumpkin pie and your kids eat everything chocolate. Instead of slaving away in the kitchen all day whipping up a dessert to satisfy everyone, purchase them through the MAC. The MAC is selling a variety of desserts this holiday season. For $10 you can purchase a pumpkin pie, chocolate silk pie, minced meat strudel or bourbon chocolate chip pecan pie. For $20, a flourless hazelnut torte, an apple buttermilk torte, a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake or a black forest torte are available. The MAC requires 72 hours notice on all orders. Holiday Shopping at the MAC
 Santa has already been browsing in the MAC Pro Shops and has found lots of goodies that would make great gifts for anyone in your family. From sweats to shoes, from athletic equipment to socks, the Downtown and West Pro Shops offer it all. Why not save yourself a trip and browse through next time you’re at the Club. You never know who you’ll be able to check off your list. Starting on Monday, Dec. 3 through Sunday, Dec. 16, all items in the Pro Shops will be 15% off already member-discounted prices. This includes all clearance items. Shop at the MAC and save this holiday season.

Celebrate St. Louis Sports
Chase Daniel from #1 ranked MU will be at the MAC
Cheer for your favorite local sports personalities out of uniform at the 38th annual Jack Buck Awards on Wednesday, Dec. 12. Cardinals pitcher Jason Isringhausen, Mizzou QB Chase Daniel and Blues President John Davidson will be in attendance to receive awards. Emmy award winning broadcaster Joe Buck will serve as the master of ceremonies. If you are a St. Louis sports fan then you won’t want to miss this premier sports awards banquet. This event always sells out, so be sure to make your reservation now. The cost is $125, inclusive per person and includes dinner. Give the Gift of Relaxation
Check a special woman in your life off your Christmas shopping list early this year. Purchase a gift certificate for her to the MAC Holiday Fashion show on Friday, Dec. 14 starting at 11:30 a.m. She will feast on a delicious lunch at the Club and have the opportunity to catch up with her girlfriends during the busy holiday season. This year’s show features fashions provided by Dillard’s, Distinctions and the Fur and Leather Center. Premier Designs High Fashion Jewelry will also be sold at the show. Here comes Santa Claus! Here Comes Santa Claus to the MAC. The jolly old man will be visiting both Clubhouses several times this holiday season. He knows if you’ve been naughty or nice, so hop up on his lap and let him know exactly what you are wishing for this holiday season.

Give Your Taste Buds a Treat
 The Jack Buck Grille menu has recently gotten a make-over. The Grille now has several new entrée choices that will leave anyone’s taste buds salivating. As the weather turns cooler, spend an evening enjoying a warm dinner at the Club. These new menu items along with your old favorites and the serene ambience of the Grille will create the perfect evening for a date, family dinner or just a quick bite after work.

Santa Claus is coming to town to engage in this 23-year-old tradition at the Downtown Clubhouse. Every child in attendance will receive a gift and have the opportunity to get his/her photo taken with jolly old St. Nick. Kids will also have the chance to listen to Christmas carols, decorate gingerbread houses and get their face painted.

This month's speaker will be Colonel Ross Blake, USAF Retired. He was a Command Pilot with over 9800 hours of flying time. During World War 2 he was shot down four times and spent 3 ½ years in a German Stalag. Colonel Blake flew 117 combat missions in Korea and 128 combat missions in Viet Nam. Col. Blake was scheduled to speak last month but was unable to attend at the last minute. Don't miss him this time!

Winter Basketball Sign Ups Sign up today for the Winter Basketball League. The winter leagues will tip off in January. The Open League will be on Monday and Tuesday evenings Downtown, beginning Jan. 7. The league is limited to the first 96 players to sign up. The Over 40 League will play on Wednesday evenings at the Downtown Clubhouse beginning Jan. 9. On Thursday nights, MAC West will have an Open League beginning Jan. 10. The deadline for signing up is Dec. 14 or until all the spots are filled. The cost is $60. To sign up, please click here and go to league sign ups.

Wine Sale and Jewelry Show Don't forget about the wine sale and jewelry show on Thursday, Nov. 29. You may just find a few holiday gifts to purchase at the sale. Bottles of wine will be offered at discounted prices. The cost is $22 for non-Wine Society members. No charge for Wine Society members. Holiday Sports Camp Get your kids out of the house this winter break. MAC West is offering 2 holiday sports and cheer camps. The camps will be held Wednesdays through Fridays, Dec. 26 - Jan. 4. Campers can participate in a morning session from 9 a.m. to noon, an afternoon camp from 1-4 p.m. or an all day camp from 9 a.m. to noon with lunch included. Half day camps are $65 for members and $85 for non-members. The all day camp is $120 for members and $140 for non members. Don't lose your summer glow If you want to keep that summer glow all winter, both clubhouses have tanning beds available. The West Clubhouse has one bed (you can reserve it ahead of time or walk-in) and the Downtown Clubhouse has two beds in the men’s locker room and one in the ladies locker room. One tan is $6 and you can purchase a few of different packages: 5 tans for $25, 10 tans for $40, and 20 tans for $70. Lotion, goggles and other supplies can be purchased at the athletic desk.


Spinning Bikes for Sale MAC West will be selling StarTrac Spinning V-Bikes for $175. Members should contact Becky Keightley at 314-539-4428 ASAP and leave a message in order to reserve one. They will be available to be picked up on Tuesday, December 4 after 1:00 pm. The first people to arrive will get to pick out the bike of their choice. First come first serve!


Christmas Spirit The spectacular Christmas Tree and decorations at West have helped members get in the holiday spirit. Thanks to Josef Mykel Fine Accessories for dressing the Clubhouse for the holidays. The Josef Mykel showroom features an exquisite selection of trees, wreaths and custom holiday decorations.
