Holiday De-stresser
Once all of the holiday excitement and stress calms down, you will need a night to relax and have a good time. Theo People’s performance in the Jack Buck Grille on Friday, Dec. 28, is the perfect way to enjoy an evening out. Peoples performed to a sold out crowd in September and was so popular the Club has brought him back again. His soulful tunes will have you dancing and singing along to hits from his days as the lead singer for The Temptations and The Four Tops. Hermann Trophy Finalists Announced
The MAC Hermann Trophy finalists have been announced, and this year’s prospects have been working hard on the field. The Hermann Trophy Banquet is college soccer’s version of the Hiesman Trophy that awards the top male and female players in the country. This year’s banquet will be on Friday, Jan. 11. The press conference will begin at 5:45 p.m. followed by dinner and the program. The cost is $60, inclusive. Rousing Racquetball Events
Mark your calendars for some exciting, upcoming racquetball events. On Dec. 28, the West Clubhouse will host a Racquetball Camp for juniors. This is the perfect time to get your kids involved. They will learn some of the basics of the game. On Dec. 29, West will also be hosting a one-day High School Tournament for MAC members only. Come out and test your skills against other members. Finally, on Jan. 5, there will be a Racquetball Rendezvous Day, which offers everyone a chance to come out and play. You can meet new players, other members, the instructors and ask questions. Dinner for Two
During the busy holiday season it is easy to forget about yourself. Set aside an evening for you to share a delicious dinner for two with someone special. The Jack Buck Grille is having a dinner for two special from now until Dec. 22. The cost is $50, plus gratuity. Save Yourself the Headache
In less than 20 days I-64/40 will shut down from Ballas to 170, leaving many motorists seeking alternative routes to avoid the horrendous traffic, delays and detours caused by the closure. The MAC is available to ease the burden of the construction for you or your company. The MAC is offering rooms that can be rented for discounted rates during the week. For $39 a day, Monday through Friday, you can rent one room with a full size bed. Upgrades will be available during down time. This special is effective immediately. Some dates are sold out. Side Dishes

Attention Past Presidents and Governors President G. Scott Engelbrecht cordially invites you to the President's Dinner honoring all former Governors on Thursday, Jan. 10 in the Crystal room on the third floor. JBG Extended Hours
On Saturday, Dec. 22, the Jack Buck Grille will offer their full dining menu until midnight. Families attending the Veiled Prophet Ball can celebrate with a meal afterwards at the MAC. The JBG is normally only open until 10 p.m.

Sports Camp Cancellations Due to the upcoming holidays and holiday sports camps several regularly scheduled camps will be cancelled. No regular weekly sports camps will be held from Dec. 20, 2007 through Jan. 9, 2008. Holiday camp will be held during that time only. Regular camps will resume Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008.


Athletics Holiday Hours
Downtown Athletics will be open on Monday, Dec. 24 from 4 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Dec. 26. For the New Year's Holiday it will be open on Monday, Dec. 31 from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1 and Wednesday, Jan. 2.


Last Minute Gift Ideas If you are still looking for a few stocking stuffers or last minute gifts, don't forget about the MAC.
