New
Spinning Class
Start
off your Saturday morning by breaking a sweat. The Downtown Clubhouse
is now offering a 2-hour spinning class on Saturday mornings, beginning
Jan. 5, from 8 to 10 a.m. Because it's a low impact sport, spinning
is suitable for just about anyone. It is a high energy workout performed
on stationary bikes to adrenaline-inducing music and led by an enthusiastic
instructor. Spinning is a form of resistance training, so you're
building long, lean muscles in your legs and butt to replace the
fat you burn off. While the class is two hours long, members should
not feel like they have to stay the entire time if they are not
up to speed. No reservations are necessary. For more information,
contact Rick Schneider at 314-539-4434. |

Membership Recruitment Programs The MAC is asking that
you give ongoing serious thought to people to whom you would like to
introduce to this great Club, and pass their contact information along
to the Membership Department – Tom Angus (Downtown) 314-539-4486
or Julie Kueper (West) 314-539-4408. You will be receiving a referral
card and self-addressed envelope with your January statement. Please
take the time to provide the name of a friend, business associate or
family member who you would like to see become a member of this fine
club. You may also be receiving a phone
call from someone in the Membership Department over the next twelve
months, so be thinking of that someone you would like to refer now.
Increased membership helps keep monthly dues affordable and helps continue
to improve the amenities and overall member experience at both great
locations.
For the first time ever, the Club is also
offering a Member Reinstatement Program to former MAC members. Club
members who resigned in 2004, 2005 or 2006 will have the opportunity
to rejoin the Missouri Athletic Club at zero initiation. Through Feb.
1, you can rejoin the Club without having to pay an initiation fee.
If you know of any former members who resigned membership during that
time frame, let them know about this special offer.

your children up now for the free 6-week swim clinic on Sundays, from
