BY-LAW AMENDMENTS PASS
The voting on the proposed By-law amendments concluded on Friday,
December 21, 2007.
Only those ballots received by 4:00 p.m. on December
21, 2007, were included in the count. Of the 2,987 members eligible
to vote, a total of 914 ballots were cast, 5 of which were voided
because of an irregularity such as received after the deadline or
missing signature.

ARTICLE III, Sec. 3.2
To institute a monthly capital contribution by all members ( except
Honorary) for the period from January 2008, through June 2008.
ARTICLE VII, Sec. 7.1 a
To change date by which the appointment of the Nominating Committee
must be made.
Also, to remove obsolete references to the process during 1999 and
2000.
ARTICLE VII, Sec. 7.1 c
To allow flexibility in the length (number of words) of a proposed
Board candidate=s
biographical material which is submitted to the Nominating Committee
as specified in the Code of Ethics for MAC Elections.
ARTICLE VII, Sec. 7.4
To reference the authority of the Code of Ethics for MAC Elections
with respect to the number of voting members who may serve on a
campaign committee and whether or not a voting member may serve
on more than one campaign committee.
