Golf Galore
The MAC Swings Open Great Golf Opportunities at Seven
Courses
Your golf game is about to get a whole lot better! The MAC is now
offering its members the opportunity to play at seven top local golf
courses. You can challenge your skills and play a variety of different
courses. The Country Club at the Legends was added to the line-up
last year to give members a country club experience. This year, St.
Clair Country Club has also been added to offer a second private club
experience. Quail Creek has also been added to the list of courses.
One of the top public courses in the area, Quail Creek has the characteristics
and quality of a championship layout.
Diamond Club members immediately have access to the special golf
privileges. If you are not a Diamond Club member, but would like
to sign up for golf privileges, contact Tara in Accounting at 314-539-4432.
The fee is $300.

| Stogie
Event
Spend
a night enjoying the finer things in life. The MAC Stogie Club has
planned a special evening of cigars, music and dining for you and
your guests. On Wednesday, April 9, legendary Jazz musician and
cigar aficionado Avo Uvezian will be in the Missouri Room to share
his music and cigars. Uvezian composed the popular 1960s ballad
“Strangers in the Night.” He will be performing the
number that evening. You will also get to enjoy cigars from his
brand. Uvezian began creating his own cigars in 1987 when his passion
for a good cigar prompted him to experiment in crafting his own.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and cigars. A delicious
four-course dinner with wine and cigars will be served at 7:30 p.m.
Throughout the evening you will be entertained by a jazz band trio.
This event is a wonderful chance to entertain your best clients
or enjoy time with friends. Space is limited to the first 100 reservations.
To reserve a chance to experience this special evening with Avo,
please call 314-539-4470. Or you can register online. Click here

Dance!
Dance! Dance!
If
the latest season of Dancing with the Stars has inspired you to
hit the dance floor, you’re in luck! The MAC is holding
another session of ballroom dance lessons that will begin on Tuesday,
April 15, and continue every Tuesday through May 13. Professional
dance instructor Susan Nyemchek will instruct. Nyemchek knows
how to get couples in sync with one another on the dance floor.
You will learn several new moves. Even if you have two left feet,
dance lessons are a great way to meet new friends at the Club
and spend quality time with your dance partner. The cost is $50,
per person for Dance Club members and $56, per person for non-Dance
Club members. If you are interested in signing up, please contact
Courtney Freeman at 314-539-4402. Or you can register online.

Capital
Contribution Update
Renovation projects associated
with the recent capital contribution program have begun Downtown.
Two new cooling towers were installed at the Downtown Clubhouse
on Friday, March 28. They will help cool the building quicker and
more efficiently during those hot St. Louis summers. The previous
towers had been in place since 1977. Read the Buffet for
updates on more Club improvements.
