Advertise in the Annual Roster
Find out what many of your fellow Missouri Athletic Club members already know... advertising in the annual MAC Roster works! Club members have a long history of doing business with each other. The Roster is an effective vehicle to promote your business to St. Louis' most influential business people and their families. The Roster not only contains the contact information for each MAC member, it also features an impressive collection of advertisers who have found value in being a part of the publication. Because Club members refer to it throughout the year and utilize it as a networking tool, advertising in the Roster offers your business great exposure. To reserve your space in the Roster today, please contact Jim Wilson by Friday, May 30, at 314-539-4488 or jwilson@mac-stl.org.

Artist Book Signing
The work of Billyo O’Donnell is on display this month in the MAC Art Gallery. O’Donnell recently released a new book, Painting Missouri, which is a colorful collection of scenes and seasons along the highways and byways of the Show-Me State. The book posed a challenge for O’Donnell because Missouri has 114 counties, plus the city of St. Louis. Stop by the Art Gallery on Thursday, May 22, and view his collection and have the special opportunity to meet O’Donnell at a book signing from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Downtown Clubhouse. Pick up this wonderful book and stay at the Club for lunch. Call Patti at 314-539-4429 to attend the book signing.

Dennis Owsley will be this month's speaker. Owsley is the host of Jazz Unlimited, heard every Sunday evening from 9:00 until midnight on KWMU-FM. His interest in jazz began around age 15 and he’s been a student of the art ever since. Nearly all the music heard on Jazz Unlimited is from his personal record collection which he started in 1959. Dennis came to St. Louis in 1969 as a research scientist at Monsanto. Getting to know legendary jazz personality Charlie Menees led to greater understanding of jazz in the Midwest. Dennis has been doing jazz shows at KWMU since 1983. Today the Riverfront Times ranks Jazz Unlimited as “Best Jazz Show in St. Louis.” Mr. Owsley is the author of “City of Gabriels-The Jazz History of St. Louis 1895-1973.”
