Lobsterfest
Spend a summer night savoring a succulent lobster feast. The Jack Buck Grille is featuring Lobsterfest July 11, 12, 18 & 19. For only $37.50, you can indulge in a delicious four-course dinner and entertainment. The Lobsterfest menu features a variety of different choice of lobster preparation, so everyone will enjoy. West Wine Dinner
MAC West is hosting a special wine dinner on Tuesday, July 22. A representative from the Robert Sinskey Vineyards of the Stags Leap District of Napa, CA, will be at the Club to have an open discussion about their wines and other general wine issues. This is a unique opportunity for wine enthusiasts. The evening will also feature a three-course meal prepared by MAC Executive Sous Chef and Level 1 Sommelier Mathew Unger and the West Culinary staff. Each course will be carefully paired with Robert Sinskey wines to enhance the flavors of the food. Appetizers to taste upon arrival will also be paired with Robert Sinskey wines. The event will start at 6:30 p.m., and first course will be served at 7 p.m. The cost to attend is $50, per person. Please call 314-539-4441 for reservations.

Fitness Class
Add some variety to your workout routine with the newest fitness class offered at the Downtown Clubhouse, Fit Camp. The class gives you a total body workout of all your major muscle groups using free weights, steps and stability balls. This class is ideal for men and women, beginner or advanced. Fit Camp focuses on strengthening, conditioning, shaping, toning and defining muscles using light to moderate weights with high repetitions. Class will be held on Monday evenings at 5:30 p.m. beginning on Monday, July 7. No reservations are necessary. For more information please contact Rick Schneider at 314-539-4434.

Member Accomplishments and Achievements
MAC member and Belleville lawyer Jack Carey has recently become president of the Illinois State Bar Association. He was honored at the group’s annual meeting at the end of June. Mr. Carey’s practice concentrates on trial work, labor and personal injury law. He received his law degree from St. Louis University. Mr. Carey is the past president of the East St. Louis Bar Association and St. Clair County Bar Association. He has been an MAC member since 1983. Congratulations!

Capital Contribution Update
Club improvements as part of the Capital Contribution program continue at the Downtown Clubhouse. A new chiller was recently installed. Garage work also continues with repairs being made and new concrete being poured. Check the Buffet for more updates.

The new 240 ton York Chiller is on line and cooling the Club. It replaces the old 200 ton Chiller.

Repair work continues on the garage. Five supplemental cables and two cables were repaired and concrete was poured.

Lacrosse Camp Change The MAC Lacrosse camp scheduled to start Monday, July 7, will now be Monday, July 14-17, from 1-4 p.m. The cost to attend is $95 for MAC members and $125 for member's guests.
