Jack Buck Grille Lunch Specials
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a great price in the Jack Buck Grille at the Downtown Clubhouse. The Grille is now featuring daily lunch specials Monday through Friday. There is a soup and sandwich combo and a heart healthy option available each day. The menu will change each week to offer you more variety. Several new selections have been added to the lunch menu, like the Classic American Cobb Salad, Margarita Pizza, Broiled Tilapia Sandwich, Roasted Turkey French Dip and the Old Fashioned Reuben. The Grille is also serving breakfast, in addition to lunch and dinner. Beginning at 7 a.m., Monday through Friday, you can enjoy Pastries, Classic Eggs Benedict, Buttermilk Griddle Cakes, Country French Toast, Smoothies and more. Arch Rivalry Showdown
Mizzou Tigers Take on the Fighting Illini at the Dome
Downtown St. Louis will be a sea of blue and orange and black and gold on Saturday, Aug. 30, as Illini and Tiger fans prepare for one of the most anticipated sporting events this year. The Missouri Tigers and Fighting Illini will kick off their 2008 season at the Edward Jones Dome at 7:30 p.m. on the 30th at the Arch Rivalry game. The game is already a sellout and is sure to be action packed as both teams are coming off exceptional 2007 seasons. If you’re planning on heading to the Dome to root for the Tigers or the Illini, stop by the Club from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Sportsman's Club for a delicious dinner buffet for only $25.95. The MAC garage will be available for "members only" and guests of members invited to a member-sponsored event inside the club on Aug. 30. The MAC valet lot will not be available because St. Louis Parking has rented the lot to the University of Illinois. Garage access will be available from 4th street only.

Showcase Your Club
at the Member/Guest Open House at West
Spend a day of family fun at MAC West on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Member/Guest Open House. Bring along prospective members and their families for a day of fun. If you have a friend, family member or business associate who may be interested in MAC membership, this is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your Club. Food and beverage will be provided for the entire family for $20. Member’s guests are complimentary. Soda and tea provided. MAC staff will be on hand to discuss membership, fitness, tennis, squash, racquetball and basketball. Try a Triathlon at West
Challenge yourself, and show other members what you’ve got at the first-ever MAC Sprint Triathlon on Saturday, Sept. 6. All MAC athletes are welcome to compete. The race begins with a 300-yard swim, followed by a 12-mile bike and concludes with a 3-mile run. The transition area will open at 6:30 a.m. A mandatory safety briefing will be held at 7 a.m. with the race beginning at 7:30 a.m. The deadline to sign up is Sept. 3. Bridge Lessons
Try your hand at new tricks with experienced bridge lessons at the MAC. If you already have the basics of the game down, these lessons are perfect for you. Linda Powers, Silver Life Master in Bridge, will be teaching the class for players who want to continue to improve their game. The lessons will be held on Mondays, Sept. 14 – Nov. 10, at the West Clubhouse from 7-9 p.m. The cost is $120 per person, inclusive.
