Hard-Body Yoga
The Downtown Clubhouse is offering a new fitness class that can help you get in a quick, quality workout. Hard-Body Yoga will begin on Monday, Nov. 3, at 5:30 p.m. The class will be taught by Katie Ronshausen, an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. She is a busy mom with little extra time on her hands to fit in a full workout schedule of strength training, cardio and flexibility, which are all important components to an optimal level of fitness. Hard-Body Yoga is unlike your typical yoga class. If you want to develop a strong, lean, flexible body without spending hours in the gym every day, this is your solution! Hard-Body Yoga combines strength training with yoga technique to create a strong physique in a one-hour class. During this class you will work every major muscle group several times over without ever having to pick up a single weight. All you need is your body, an open mind and a yoga mat, and you will discover what strong healthy bodies are made of!
No reservations are necessary. For more information, call Rick Schneider at 314-539-4434. |
Member Accomplishments and Achievements

This week, the Buffet is recognizing Vincent J. Bommarito, owner of Tony’s Restaurant Downtown.
Here is what Sauce Magazine had to say about Vincent’s award-winning restaurant. “Every big city has that one special restaurant, the one everybody goes to for big celebrations, spending their tax refund or entertaining bigwig out-of-town clients. The place that’s stood the test of time and is known for their consistency and superb service. In St. Louis, that place is Tony’s. Vincent J. Bommarito has been at the helm of the award-winning Italian restaurant for more than 50 years, helping transform it from a modest spaghetti house in the 1940s to St. Louis’ best fine dining establishment. For those efforts, Bommarito was one of 20 restaurateurs recently honored at national culinary magazine Food Arts’ celebration of 20 years of Silver Spoon Award winners. The black-tie affair in New York was hosted by Michael and Ariane Batterberry, founders/publishers of Food Arts and Food & Wine. Other winners of the Silver Spoon Award have included Julia Child, Wolfgang Puck and Paul Prudhomme. Always focused on his customers, Bommarito said, “What an honor it is to be recognized with so many restaurant legends. We work to earn our reputation every day with each guest.”
Congratulations Vincent! |
