Christmas Dining at the MAC
Skip out on the cleaning house, grocery shopping, meal preparation and clean up by spending the holidays at the MAC. The MAC is a beautiful place to treat your family to a delicious holiday meal and to spend quality time together. Since you won’t be worried about all of the things hosting a holiday meal comes with, you will have more time to spend with your family and friends. The MAC is offering four dining opportunities at both Clubhouses this holiday season. Whether you’re in the mood for brunch or dinner, you can find it all at the Club. Click here for a full list of details on the Christmas dining opportunities at the MAC. To make reservations Downtown, call 314-539-4470. For West reservations, call 314-539-4441. Or you can sign up online. Click here to enter the member login area.

Shop at the MAC for Holiday Gifts
If Santa is looking for a few last minute gifts to leave under the tree this year, tell him to head to the MAC where the gift possibilities are endless. You can find something for nearly anyone in your MAC family. Pamper your wife with a massage or manicure/pedicure, give your son a new golf shirt or buy your parents a gift certificate to one of the four MAC restaurants. If you have a fitness buff in the family, you can also purchase a gift certificate for personal training. Gift certificates are available for almost anything you could want at the Club. It is an easy way to finish up your Christmas shopping, and the people on your list will appreciate the chance to spend more time at the Club. To purchase a gift certificate to the Downtown Clubhouse, call the Accounting Department at 314-539-4432. To purchase a gift certificate at West, stop by the Pro Shop desk.

Holiday Sports Camps at West
Christmas break starts in just a few weeks. Avoid hearing your kids complaining they are bored with nothing to do. Sign them up for the Holiday Sports Camps at MAC West. The camps will be held Friday, Dec. 26; Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 29-31; Friday, Jan. 2, and Monday, Jan. 5. Your child can choose to participate in the morning session from 9 a.m. to noon, the afternoon session from 1 to 4 p.m. or an all day session from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., which includes lunch. Campers will participate in sports such as basketball, soccer and flag football. Future cheerleaders will have the opportunity to learn some new moves and cheers. The cost is $25, per child for a half day, or $50 per child for a full day. Participants must sign up per day. To sign up, click here for a registration form. More information can be found on the sports camp page of the MAC website or by calling Coach Eric Saxton at 314-539-4468.

Be the Biggest Loser
January 1st is fast approaching. As you are thinking about your New Year’s resolutions, feel confident in making a goal of losing weight by joining the MAC’s Biggest Loser Contest. A little friendly competition can help you stay motivated to meet your goals. Inspired by the hit NBC Show the Biggest Loser, in January the MAC will be hosting its own version of the weight loss competition. Weight loss experts will provide direction throughout the process to help you see better results. The contest will begin on Monday, Jan. 12, and continue through April 10. The cost is $100 per person and includes beginning and ending Health Assessments given by a certified personal trainer, four 1-hour “lectures/classes” covering nutrition given by a registered dietician, beginning and final weigh-ins, as well as bi-weekly weigh-ins to track the status of all the contestants over the 13 weeks. You will be offered a discounted rate for every 1-hour personal training session you take during the competition dates. The winner of the contest will be the person who loses the most % of body weight, not the most pounds lost. Fabulous prizes will be presented to the winners. The deadline to sign up is Monday, Jan. 5. Sign up today. The only thing you have to lose is weight! Members who work out at Downtown or West can participate. Call Rick Schneider at 314-539-4434 to sign up.

20/20/20
The holidays are a busy time of year. If you’re finding it difficult to fit in total body workouts, try MAC West’s newest fitness class 20/20/20. This class makes it easy for you to get in all the parts of a workout in just one hour by splitting the class up into 20 minute segments focusing on specific areas. 20/20/20 includes 20 minutes of basic cardio step moves, 20 minutes of weight lifting and resistance and 20 minutes of floor work for abs and toning. The class will be held at West on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. The class will be taught by Sue Newsom and will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 6. The cost is $5/class or $30/month. The class is included for Diamond Club members.
Additional Tickets for Legally Blonde at the Fox
The Fox Theater is being painted pink as Legally Blonde comes to town. If you love the movie then you will fall in love with the musical too. The MAC has purchased additional premium theater tickets to see the show on Wednesday, Jan. 28. See Elle Woods and her pup from some of the best seats in the Fox. When purchasing your tickets through the MAC, you won’t just get awesome seats; you will have the whole evening taken care of for you, including dinner and transportation. A delicious three-course dinner will be served and the comfortable and convenient MAC shuttle bus will transport you to and from the theater. If you would like to purchase tickets to see Legally Blonde, call Courtney at 314-539-4402. Or you can sign up online. Click here to enter the member login area. A limited number of tickets are still available, so call now so you don’t miss out on one of the best shows of the season.
Legally Blonde follows sorority star Elle Woods, an underestimated blonde who doesn’t take “no” for an answer. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone more “serious,” Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.
