Election Day is Thursday
Show your Club spirit and experience the excitement of MAC election night on Thursday, May 7. Cast your vote, enjoy a complimentary dinner and stick around for the announcement of the election results. For decades members have gathered in the Downtown lobby to cast their vote and select the next class of the Board of Governors. Walk through the famed gauntlet amidst campaign promises and handshakes. Members must have their membership card with them to enter the Club on Election Day. Polls will open at the Downtown Clubhouse at 7 a.m. and stay open until 6:30 p.m. A complimentary buffet dinner will be served in the Missouri and Eads Rooms from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Please call 314-539-4470 for reservations. Come share in the camaraderie with fellow members, and help shape the future of the Club.
If you are unable to attend Election Day at the Downtown Clubhouse, the West Clubhouse will have silent voting on Wednesday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the West Banquet room.

Top 5 Reasons Yoga Will Benefit You
If you have ever considered giving yoga a try, now is the time to do so. A new noon session is starting up Monday, June 1, at the Downtown Clubhouse. Yoga can strengthen the body and work muscles that may never have been worked before. This class is not just for women, men can find a tremendous benefit of yoga as well. Yoga is one of the few physical activities that has a "de-compacting" effect on the body which is essential to counter the effects of gravity associated with activities such as running or jogging. It also provides needed relief to such asymmetric activities as racquet sports and golf which torque the spine in only one direction. Yoga instructor and MAC personal trainer Andrew Francis gives you the top five reasons you should take up yoga today:
* Improves flexibility
* Improves muscular strength
* Improves posture and balance
* Reduces stress
* Studies show that it can lower blood pressure
The 8-week yoga session is held on Mondays and costs $50 for the session or $10 per class. Reservations can be made by calling Rick Schneider at 314-539-4434.

The Lunch and Tour Group is Heading South

The tour will leave from MAC West at 10 a.m. and return at 4 p.m. The total cost will be $37 per person. The Lunch and Tour group welcomes all ladies to join them. Invite your friends and come along. There will be plenty of time to visit on the ride down and back.
