MAC Platinum Again
The Missouri Athletic Club has once again been recognized as a “Platinum Club of America.” This is the highest honor in the private club industry and places the MAC among the top 3% in the United States.
To commemorate this great news, the MAC is extending the Platinum Member gift certificate program. Since last December the program has successfully recruited more than 100 new members. If you received a certificate earlier this year, you now have until the end of the year to personally offer one colleague, friend or family member the opportunity to join free of initiation fee as a thank you for your continued support, as well as a way to share your fine Club with someone new. All certificate recipients are afforded the opportunity to join the MAC free of initiation fee (up to a $1,000 value).
If you have not received a certificate, you should receive one shortly as the program is now being extended to those with less than five years of membership.
Please contact Cindy Tangaro, Downtown (314-539-4448) or Julie Kueper, MAC West (314-539-4408) for assistance with the program.

In his new book of photographs and essays, Strength and Compassion, Eric Greitins brings together the best of his award-winning photography with lessons on leadership and living truly meaningful lives. The photographs take the reader on a journey spanning eight countries, including Rwanda, Bolivia, the Gaza Strip, Mexico, Albania, and India. Along the way, we encounter refugees of genocide, survivors of landmines, street children of the barrios, and orphans of war. But this is not the story of their struggles against poverty and war. It is the story of the extraordinary strength and compassion they possess to create lives of dignity, courage, and hope. During his remarkable life of humanitarianism and public service, Missouri native Eric Greitens has earned a PhD at Oxford, served as a White House Fellow, been a Navy SEAL, befriended Hotel Rwanda manager Paul Rusesabagina, and founded the Center for Citizen Leadership.
