Billikens Luncheon Featuring Rick Majerus- Oct. 22
Saint Louis University basketball coach Rick Majerus will serve up Billikens basketball at the annual Billikens Luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 22. (The date has moved from Oct. 20.) The colorful coach has been a hit at previous MAC appearances. Coach Majerus built Utah into a basketball powerhouse, and he is looking to do the same at SLU. The Billikens may be the youngest team in college basketball, so Coach Majerus thinks the future is very bright for his program. Enjoy a delicious lunch and hear from one of college basketball’s coaching greats for only $30. New Golf Reciprocal Agreement
The MAC has entered into a new reciprocal agreement with the Panther Creek Country Club of Springfield, Illinois. You can now play the 18-hole Hale Irwin designed golf course, which is home of the LPGA State Farm Classic, practice on the best practice facilities in central Illinois and dine at the Club. Under the new agreement, MAC members can play at Panther Creek five times during the year. All charges for greens fees, cart rentals, dining and bar will be billed to your MAC account. Advanced reservations are required for dining and golf. Twenty-four hours advance notice is required through Club manager Larry Thompson for tee times. Greens fees are $45 per person for 18-holes and $25 per person for 9-holes.

Fine Time with French Wine
On Thursday, Oct. 22, a Wine Tasting Event with Alan Unruh, from Stacole Imports will be held in the Art Lounge Downtown. Alan will provide general information about French wines and wine regions, as well as, intimate stories about the wines tasted that evening. Jazz with Chef Bart
Dine on a delicious three-course meal while being serenaded to smooth jazz tunes in the Jack Buck Grille on Friday, Oct. 9. Jazz with Chef Bart will feature music by Millennium Live. Root for the Rams
The Rams kick off their first home game of the regular season on Sunday, Sept. 27, against the Green Bay Packers at noon. Gear up for the game, and fill up on a delicious pre-game buffet at the MAC. October Dining Specials
Indulge in a delicious meal at a tremendous value during the month of October. Throughout the month, the Grille will offer dining specials on Friday and Saturday evenings. The weekend of October 2 and 3, the Grille will have a pri fix menu, three courses for $30. You select one option for each course. Dance into the Fall Season

Perfect your dance moves at a new fall session of Ballroom Dance lessons. Beginning to advanced dancers are invited to show their skills every Tuesday for five weeks in the Missouri Room. Professional ballroom dance instructor Lucy Fitzgerald will teach the five-week course every Tuesday from Sept. 22 to Oct. 20. The class, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., will feature the most popular ballroom dances. The total price for the five-week course is $50 per person, inclusive, for Dance Club members and $56 for non-members. Show off the moves you learn in dance lessons at the Fall Dinner Dance on Friday, Oct. 2, at the Downtown Clubhouse. You will dance the night away to entertainment by the Chaser’s Fore and will feast on a delicious three-course dinner. The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception, which is cash bar. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. followed by dancing from 8:30-10:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $33.50 inclusive per person for Dance Club members and $40 inclusive per person for Non-Dance Club members. Niemann is Executive Vice President of BryanMark Financial Group. Michael’s background is high end estate, tax and succession planning.  Prior to joining BryanMark, Michael spent most of his career at Arthur Andersen where he led the Family Wealth Planning and Family Business Consulting practice and was a regional leader for advanced tax planning.  Michael held a similar role at Brown Smith Wallace and was the National Director of Advanced Planning for the Northern Trust Company.

It’s FYC’s Annual Pool Party! Come dressed for a couple of hours by the pool enjoying an end-of-summer barbeque. The Trivia Contest and other games will again be led by Wayne McCollum. Of course, we’ll have the attendance prize and 50-50 drawing – and maybe some surprises. All businesses must sometimes raise prices and the MAC is no exception. Body Composition Testing The West Clubhouse will be offering Hydrostatic body fat testing on Thursday, Oct. 8. Participants will receive a four-page personalized body fat analysis. The testing will be from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at West. The cost is $55 for the initial test and $35 for future tests. Contact the fitness desk at 314-539-4433 to make your appointment.

Associates Happy Hour Mix and mingle with the Associates at a poolside Happy Hour at MAC West on Thursday, Sept. 17. The happy hour will be from 5-8 p.m. There will be $1 drafts and $3 wells. A special menu will also be available. The Associates hope to see you there!


MAC West Kids Club A new MAC Kids Club will offer fun for children throughout the year. Being a part of the group gives kids access to many fun events at no charge. Events will include free smoothies on your birthday, report card rewards, make your own pizza bars, field days and many more.
