If you are seeking something more out of your workout routine, give yoga a try. Yoga can provide tremendous physical benefits beyond stress relief. A new noon session is starting up Monday, Oct. 12, at the Downtown Clubhouse. Yoga can strengthen the body and work muscles that may never have been worked before. This class is not just for women, men can find a tremendous benefit of yoga as well. Yoga is one of the few physical activities that has a “de-compacting” effect on the body which is essential to counter the effects of gravity associated with activities such as running or jogging. The 8-week yoga session is held on Mondays and costs $50 for the session or $10 per class. Reservations can be made by calling Rick Schneider at 314-539-4434. |
