Dave Anderson, MAC member, had a collection of some of his art work displayed in the Art Lounge. His painting, “A Rainy November Day at Arlington” depicts a full military funeral at Arlington Cemetery. This painting is for sale and would be a very appropriate addition to our collection in the Veterans Room on the fourth floor. Our plan is to purchase this painting from contributions from our Military History Club.  Everyone who participates in the purchase will have their name engraved on a special plaque which would be placed on the wall next to the painting.  Please do not send any money at this time. We are suggesting an advance pledge in the amount of $25, $50, $100, or more.  Please email your pledge amount to Katie Maurer at kmaurer@mac-stl.org or you may also call Katie at 314-539-4402. The deadline for contributions is Thursday, Oct. 22.  This is a unique opportunity for the Military History Club to honor our veterans.
