Less Than 30 Days Remain...
The number of shopping days left until Christmas are quickly dwindling, and so are the number of days to sponsor a new member to join the Club at no initiation fee. Check someone off your gift list this year by gifting them a membership to the Club at no initiation fee; it is the gift that keeps on giving. By gifting your Platinum Certificate to a family member, friend or business associate, you are giving a gift that is up to $1,000 in value. If you have been procrastinating, now is the time to act. The program will end on Dec. 31. Beginning Jan. 1, the initiation fee will go into effect. Sponsoring a new member is easy. Simply provide the Membership Department with a name and contact info. They will take it from there. Contact Patti Cundiff, Downtown (314-539-4429) or Julie Kueper, West (3140539-4408) in the membership office.

Be the Biggest Loser
The holiday season usually brings a few unwanted, extra pounds. The lavish feasts and slew of parties has most people starting a New Year’s resolution each January to get in shape and lose weight. To help motivate you and keep you sticking to your resolution, the MAC is hosting a weight loss competition beginning in January. The MAC’s Biggest Loser contest will provide you with the best resources to make your goals a reality. The contest begins on Jan. 18, and ends April 16. The cost is $115 per person and includes a beginning and ending health assessment by a certified personal trainer, six 1-hour “lectures/classes” covering nutrition given by a registered dietitian, beginning and final weigh-in, as well as bi-weekly weigh-ins to track the status of all the contestants over 13 weeks. Discounted personal training rates for every 1-hour session taken during the competition will be offered to participants. The winner will be the person who loses the most % of body weight, not the most pounds. Fabulous prizes will be presented to the winners. Sign up today and turn your weight loss goals into a reality. The only thing you have to lose is weight. Members who work out at Downtown or West can participate. Contact Rick Schneider at 314-539-4434 to sign up. The deadline to sign up is Monday, Jan. 4. |
