February Cherry Diamond
Tradition has been the cornerstones of the MAC since the Club’s inception over 100 years ago. The Downtown Clubhouse is where these traditions have been built. The beautiful building has earned a designation on the National Registry of Historic Places. The MAC Preservation Foundation is launching a new initiation to preserve the historic Clubhouse. The MAC Brick Paver Program gives each member the opportunity to permanently commemorate your role in preserving the Downtown Clubhouse. Check out how you can get an MAC Brick on page 9... There is plenty happening this month to showcase the tradition of the MAC. The Club continually serves as the perfect spot to celebrate any special occasion. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, make it special by coming to the MAC for a memorable evening. The Club also has man different gift options that your sweetheart will appreciate... Boxing was very popular at the time of the Club’s inception and it still is today. Don’t miss the annual MAC Boxing Championship. Make reservations before the event sells out... For more than 75 years, once a year members get together for a day of food, fun and friendship on the fifth floor at the annual Good Fellowship Day Party. No event captures the spirit and camaraderie of the Club than this event. The best part is that it is free! Stop by for cold beer and a delicious feast... With so much going on this month, be sure to read the February Cherry Diamond and stay active in your Club.
