Valentine's Day at the MAC
If you're one of those people caught last-minute shopping on Christmas Eve, it's doubtful you've bought a Valentine's Day gift yet. With just under a week to go until Valentine’s Day, let the Missouri Athletic Club make the sweetheart's holiday truly sweet. Instead of dropping by a flower shop after work on the big day or scrambling over picked-over cards, stop in your Club for fantastic gift ideas that are convenient and easy to pick up. Dinner
Make it simple on yourself and treat that special someone in your life to a romantic evening at the Club. Both Clubhouses are offering special dinner menus on Valentine’s weekend. West Valentines Dining
The West Clubhouse is offering a four-course dinner with entree selections, including roasted chicken, strip steak and sole, on Sunday, Feb. 14. A wine pairing flight is also availble for $26 per person plus gratuity. The cost is $85 per couple + gratuity. The Valentine's Day Menu is the only menu offered on Feb. 14, however this menu will also be available on Saturday, Feb. 13 along with regular dinner menu.
Valentine’s Ball
Instead of spending your Valentine’s Day at an overcrowded and overpriced restaurant where you leave still feeling hungry, treat your special someone to an evening of elegance at the MAC Valentine’s Ball on Saturday, Feb. 13. The beautiful Missouri Room will be the backdrop for this intimate evening. You and your sweetheart will feast on a delicious three-course dinner and then dance the night away to music by the Chasers Fore. Your special night will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails in the Art Lounge. Call 314-539-4470 for reservations.
Chocolate
The way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach, and what better thing to fill their tummy with than rich and decadent chocolates. The Downtown Clubhouse is selling one pound boxes of chocolate from Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate that will make any special person in your life melt. Chocolates can be purchased at the Downtown Front Desk.
You can also purchase a half dozed chocolate covered strawberries for $14. Strawberries can be dipped in dark chocolate and stripped in white chocolate or dipped in milk chocolate. Orders can be placed by calling 314-539-4470. Orders must be placed 48 hours in advance.
Athletics
Outfit your significant other in some new stylish athletic gear from either of the Club’s Pro Shops. Both Clubhouses are offering 15% off all MAC logoed apparel Monday, Feb. 8, through Friday, Feb 12.
Pampering
Treat your sweetheart to a day of pampering and relaxation with a massage or manicure/pedicure at either Clubhouse. Massage rates are: $27/one-fourth hour, $38/one-half hour, $49/three-fourths hour, $60/hour, $71/one and one-fourth hour, $82/one and one-half hour and $91 for a one and one-fourth hour hot stone massage (available at MAC West only). The Club has several massage therapists at each Clubhouse.
Manicures and pedicures are also available at both Clubhouses. Manicures start at $20 and pedicures at $35. Manicures and pedicures are a nice gift for men or women.
