May Cherry Diamond
In just a few weeks summer will hit the MAC. School will be out, the pool will open and sports camps will kick off. The West Clubhouse is the hub of summer activity at the Club. Club members are fortunate that 15 years ago the Board acquired the West Club. It added tremendous value to an MAC membership by expanding the variety of facilities, services and programs. Celebrate the summer season at the West Club. Don’t forget to also frequent the Downtown Clubhouse before Cardinals baseball, the VP Parade and Fair St. Louis. Stay connected through the Club this summer by checking out the May Cherry Diamond for the latest news and events.

MAC Election Excitement
Be a part of one of the greatest traditions at the MAC, Election Day. For decades members have gathered in the Downtown lobby to cast their vote and select the next class of the Board of Governors. Don’t forget to get out and vote! On Thursday, May 6, members will again fill the lobby and walk through the famed gauntlet amidst campaign promises and handshakes. All members are encouraged to come to the Club and vote in person on May 6. Members must have their membership card with them to enter the Club on Election Day. Polls will open at the Downtown Clubhouse at 7 a.m. and stay open until 6:30 p.m. A complimentary buffet dinner will be served from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Come share in the camaraderie with fellow members, and help shape the future of the Club.

Father-Daughter Banquet

Dads and daughters will share a special evening together at the annual Father-Daughter Banquet on Wednesday, May 19. Girls will put on their best party dresses, fix their hair in a fancy do and maybe even put on a little makeup so they look their best for a fun night with their dads at the Downtown Clubhouse. The Father-Daughter Banquet has been a Club tradition since 1947. This year’s banquet will again feature carriage rides around town where daughters will feel just like princesses. Carriage ride reservations can be made by calling 314-539-4470. Reservations are required and must be made in advance. Rides are $10 per person. At the end of the evening, each daughter will receive a special picture frame with a photo taken of them with their father.
