AB Beer and Cheese Pairing

On Wednesday, June 30, George Reisch, a fifth generation brewmaster at Anheuser-Busch, will present a special AB beer and cheese pairing in the Art Lounge Downtown. Reisch is the Director of Brewmaster Outreach for Anheuser-Busch. He will pair Budweiser American Ale, Budweiser, Bud Light, Shock Top Belgian White, and Michelob Original Lager with specific cheeses during an informative session. The tasting and presentation will be from 5:30-7 p.m. For reservations, call 314-539-4470.

High School All-Star Soccer
St. Louis is regarded as the soccer capital of the U.S. St. Louis Soccer fans can catch a glimpse of the next generation of stars on Thursday, July 1. The MAC is once again sponsoring the High School Senior All-Star games, featuring the top prep boys and girls soccer players in the St. Louis area. The games will be held at the Anheuser-Busch Center in Fenton with the girl’s game kicking off at 6 p.m., followed by the boy’s game at 8 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at the event: $5 for adults and $3 for students. Parking is $2. |

Dive-In Movie at MAC West
Catch a movie under the stars from the coolest seat in town, the MAC West pool. On Friday, June 18, MAC West will host a Dive-In Movie. Bring a floatation device and dive on in to experience a movie like the old drive-in theaters. The Dive-In Movie is a great way to share a fun evening with friends and family. The movie will begin at dusk. This FREE event includes popcorn and soda. New this year… an ice cream bar will be set up in the Stan Musial Grille beginning at 6:30 p.m. for kids to create their own ice cream sundaes. The cost is $5 per child. |
4th of July Festivities
Celebrate the 4th of July weekend at the MAC. The festivities will kick off at the Downtown Clubhouse on Saturday, July 3, for the VP parade. Outside the front of the Clubhouse offers a prime viewing spot. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Enjoy breakfast at the Club prior to the parade or stick around after for lunch. The Club is an ideal gathering destination throughout Fair St. Louis. On Sunday, July 4, bring the family to MAC West for a fun pool party. New Summer Squash Assistant
This summer Rusty Feldman will join the MAC staff as an assistant squash pro. Rusty is a recent graduate from Yale University, where he was a member of their squash team for four years. He will be assisting Heidi Mather with lessons and matches this summer.

MAC Sprint Triathlon
Swim, bike and run for fun at the third annual MAC Sprint Triathlon on Saturday, Aug. 28, at MAC West. All MAC athletes are welcome to compete. If you’re an experienced tri-athlete, this is your chance to show your stuff to fellow Club members. If you have never “tried a tri,” this will be a fun event to challenge yourself. The race begins with a 300-yard swim, followed by a 12-mile bike and concludes with a 3-mile run. The transition area will open at 6:30 a.m. A mandatory safety briefing will be held at 7 a.m. with the race beginning at 7:30 a.m. All members 16 and older are welcome to participate. Members who are participating are allowed to bring up to four guests. Sign up by calling Tonia at 314-539-4453. The entry fee is $25 for members and $35 for non-members. |

SPECIAL MEETING... a U.S. Marine reports to us on his recent combat
experience in Afghanistan. Will Shepherd, a U.S. Marine serving in Afghanistan. He is from St. Louis and will be home on leave during the first part of June. He is a Critical Skills Operator (CSO) in the 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion (MSOB). In layman’s terms, he is a Special Forces Operator. Cardinals Dining Specials The MAC is your official pre and post-game destination this baseball season. The Jack Buck Grille will feature home game specials throughout the season. The MAC is the perfect place to stop in for a quick and affordable meal before heading to Busch Stadium. The specials will run from 5-9 p.m. each weeknight of home games. Youth Sports Camps The West Clubhouse offers a variety of camps, clinics and sports instruction. From specialty camps that will allow your child to focus on a particular sport they are interested in to general camp that includes a variety of sports offered at the MAC, your kids will have fun while meeting new friends.
