August Cherry Diamond
Summer is slowly winding down, and fall is fast approaching. Fall traditionally kicks off the social season at the MAC. There is a lot happening at the Club in August that will transition you into the social season... The Downtown Clubhouse will usher in the 2010 football season by hosting buffets before the Missouri vs. Illinois Border War game and prior to every Rams home game… Continue your summer workout routine through August by signing up for the third MAC Sprint Triathlon.  Anyone 16 years of age and older will have the chance to champion a 300-yard swim, followed by 12-mile bike, concluded by a 3-mile run... Spend an evening out catching some excellent upcoming shows at the Fabulous Fox. The MAC has some of the best seats in town… Don’t miss your chance to mingle at the Associates Happy Hour or improve your Ballroom Dancing abilities with a few lessons from professional dance instructor, Lucy Fitzgerald…Enjoy the rest of summer at the MAC. Check out what’s happening in August in this month’s Cherry Diamond.

TRX Suspension Training at West
A new training technique has been introduced to the MAC West. Take fitness to a new level and keep up your summer beach body with TRX suspension training. TRX suspension training was developed by the Navy SEALs as a way to maintain fitness levels while they were deployed and had little to no fitness equipment access. The purpose is to utilize the users own body weight to create a system that builds strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. The TRX suspension training is for anyone looking to shape up and stay fit. Class is taught every Wednesday at noon or personal training is offered. Contact Beth Clark at 539-4433 for more details.
