Annual Rooftop Party this Saturday!
	The annual MAC rooftop party is this Saturday, Sept. 4! A live band will be playing on the MAC roof and a delicious barbeque buffet will be set up. The cost is $30 per person, which includes the band, bbq, free draft beer and projection screen viewing of sports games. A cash bar for mixed drinks will also be available. Trout Fishing Trip The Rod and Gun Club invites all members and guests to join them for a Fall Trout Fishing Trip Tuesday, Oct. 5 through Thursday, Oct. 7, at Gaston’s White River Resort. The group will carpool from the Downtown Clubhouse at noon. Fishing will begin bright and early on Wednesday. After a half day of fishing on Thursday, the group will head back to St. Louis. The cost is $475 for Rod and Gun Club members and $485 for non-Rod and Gun Club members. The price includes one and a half days of fishing, a guide, a boat and deluxe accommodations. MAC Social Ease
	If you have not signed your child up for the MAC Social Ease Program, there is still time! The program consists of three classes at MAC West followed by a graduation dinner held at the Downtown Clubhouse for children in first through sixth grades. Topics will include pose and posture, conversation and friendship skills, table manners and public speaking. Classes will be held on Sundays, Sept. 19, through Oct. 3, at MAC West. The graduation dinner will be on Friday, Oct. 8, Downtown. To sign your children up, call Katie at 314-539-4402.

Root for Your Rams With two preseason wins under their belt, the Rams look to make it one more before kicking off the regular season. Catch them in action at the Dome on Thursday, Sept. 2. The MAC will host a dinner buffet prior to the game. The dinner buffet is from 5-7 p.m. in the Sportsman’s Club. Call 314-539-4470 for reservations.
Fall Fitness Don’t let your workout routine falter this fall. The MAC offers many fun and effective fitness classes to get you the results you are looking for. A new yoga session is starting this week Downtown. At West, a new class, piyo roller, will begin in September. The Toastmasters will now hold additional meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:15 a.m. for one hour. The Tuesday morning meetings will start on Sept. 28. The Toastmasters are also hosting an open house for all members on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 5:30 p.m. at MAC West.

This month's speaker will be Jeremy Cox, President of the Greater St. Louis Air & Space Museum. He will speak about the rich and varied Aeronautical history of the St. Louis Region.

Fall Athletic Hours The Downtown Athletic Department will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6, in observance of Labor Day. Following Labor Day, the new fall hours begin:
Mon. – Fri., 4 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
*Closed one hour after kickoff for Rams Sunday home games.

Downtown Pool Closing The Downtown Pool will close on Saturday, Aug. 28, for cleaning and repairs. The pool will re-open on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
