Doubles Squash Exhibition Downtown
Come see squash played at its best at a Doubles Squash Exhibition match at the Downtown Clubhouse. The exhibition will be this Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 11:30 a.m. on the courts on the 5th floor. Participants will be Heidi Mather, Head Squash pro, Yago Cornes, Assistant Squash pro and members Tom Beattie and Mark Gaertner. This Saturday, Jan. 28, the Art Committee is coordinating an Art Scavenger Hunt co-sponsored by the Wine Society, CWCs and the Women's Initiative Committee. Members and guests are invited to search for some of the pieces while tasting a variety of complimentary wines and beer. Don't forget to stop by the complimentary Chocolate Martini Bars. Hors d'oeuvres will also be served. There will be CWC members located at various sites. Rediscover your Club through the scavenger hunt. Winter Pool Workouts Don’t forget that the Downtown Clubhouse indoor pool is open year-round for lap swimming. The pool is kept at a comfortable 82 degrees. The pool is located on the 5th floor and is open Monday through Friday from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The pool has five lap lanes for lap swimming on a first-come, first-serve basis. The pool is also handicapped accessible.
